You know those young quarterbacks everyone can’t wait to see at G-Day on Saturday?

There’s a much better chance now that you’ll see them showing off their arm strength than it looked from the weather forecast earlier this week.

On Friday evening, the weather forecast for UGA’s annual spring football game improved: it should be cloudy around 68-70 degrees, with only a 24% chance of rain.

However, there is a much higher chance of rain showers in the Athens area early on Saturday morning, so be sure to drive carefully.

It might be a good idea to bring a light rain jacket to the game, and that way you’re covered for light rain, as well as cooler temperatures in case the sun stays hidden.

Game G-Day kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday, and one of the biggest storylines is Georgia’s No. 2 quarterback battle between Carson Beck (reputed “most gifted” arm in the team) and Brock Vandagriff (5 star rookie). If it’s raining hard during the game, you probably won’t see much going by.

It’s going to be a big day for DawgNation, as Brandon Adams will hang out with Georgia fans at Creature Comforts Taproom (271 West Hancock Avenue in Athens), starting at 10:30 a.m. He will join the members of The players’ lounge.

BA will also do their post-game show from the UGA Bookstore (next to the Tate Center) after the scrimmage.
