The Small Animal Clinic in Pune successfully carried out egg-related laparoscopic surgery on a turtle who had been suffering from egg-related syndrome for six months and could not eat properly. The operation was performed by a team led by Dr. Narendra Pardeshi, a veterinarian at the clinic. This was very successful and the turtle, affectionately called Ladoo, can now eat easily without any difficulty.

Prem Luniya’s family recently became concerned as their pet Ladoo was not eating properly and looked weak and lazy. They consulted various veterinarians who could not offer any solution to their problem.

The 111th anniversary of the Corps of Signals was celebrated on Tuesday by all Signals units of Southern Command, which is headquartered in Pune. The Corps of Signals is a combat support branch of the Indian Army and provides information and communication technology (ICT) support to army formations.

Southern Army Commander Lt. Gen. JS Nain commended the Signalmen for their vision, professional excellence and dogged determination to enable technology-driven operational paradigms.
