Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antonio Hamilton will miss at least the first four games of the season with a bizarre injury.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals placed Hamilton on the reserve/non-football injured list after he was involved in a cooking accident at his own home.

Full details regarding the Hamilton kitchen accident have yet to be released. There are a few rumblings that he accidentally burned himself with hot oil.

Although the Cardinals have no information to share, NFL fans are curious about what happened inside Hamilton’s home.

While it might be considered insensitive, some jokes are being made about the Arizona high school.

Hamilton, an undrafted cornerback from South Carolina State, has rebounded in the league in recent years. He played for the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hamilton has racked up 88 tackles and nine pass deflections since 2016.

After having a strong training camp, Hamilton secured a spot on Arizona’s 53-man roster. Unfortunately, his kitchen accident will force him to spend a few weeks on the shelf.
