The anticyclone will pass this morning and head back east this afternoon.

Most of the day will be sunny and pleasant under the high pressure. Any morning fog will burn away, leaving mostly clear skies. Fair weather clouds will then begin to bubble up, as usual.

At the end of the afternoon, some parasitic showers and thunder rumbles will be possible. Not all areas will see rain, and those that do shouldn’t see much.

Winds will be light and variable with the high nearby. Eventually, around or after sunset, southeast winds will set in with speeds around 5 mph.

Temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs near or slightly below 80 degrees. Evening temperatures will drop back into the mid-60s.

The sky tonight will remain partly cloudy with some parasitic showers. The best chance for a downpour will be early evening and then again around dawn. Again, most areas are unlikely to see rain.

Overnight lows will settle near 60 degrees.

Here is an overview of the weather forecast for the next few days:

Friday: Showers and thunderstorms, especially in the middle of the day and afternoon. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: A few early clouds and a few showers. Then some sunshine. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a few showers in the afternoon. Morning lows in the 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
